Hot Chocolate with the Head - 25/9/26

This week saw Heads of House recognise two new students alongside other with longer track records of hard work and success.

Miss Wright, Johnson's Head of House, nominated Fenton W (Year 11) for his "fantastic attitude." Miss Wright gave credit that Fenton "gets involved in everything the school has to offer," and is a "role model to others."  Miss Wright added that Fenton is "consistently... an amazing student."

Noah M (Year 10) was nominated from Seward House by Mr Sleigh, who described his "outstanding attitude to school life."  Noah's Head of House also praised his "great start to Year 10 life, head down and cracking on with GCSE options."

Mrs Radford nominated Lucy T (Year 7) as her Star of the Week. Lucy's award is for an "incredible start at The Friary School," especially in showing "great resilience and kindness" when on the Warwick Castle trip this week.

In a similar vein is Emily W's (Year 7) nomination. Darwin's Head of House, Mr Britton, nominated Sophie for a "fantastic start at The Friary," settling in "exceptionally well" and approaching school life "with positivity."

Mr Drury, Headteacher, said: "With the term into only its fourth week, it is fantastic to see Year 7 students being recognised by their Heads of House already. This is alongside older students who, with their long track records of hard work and achievement in school, are equally deserving."
