Faye Banks, Careers & Aspirations Mentor, said: “We out a lot of work into supporting students with all applications and with the work-based ones being so specifically targeted it is fantastic to see students win placements and take them on. We know parents will have attended our Partnership Evenings and interacted directly with apprenticeship providers and we know this is an important part of the application process. We are incredibly proud of them taking this step forward and know they will only flourish.”

Matt Allman, Headteacher, added: “We are very much a school that highly prizes work-based routes. They provide brilliant progression pathways for students and cut out the need to take on university debt as Higher Education becomes regrettably more financially unattainable for some students. There really are some top-notch placements here, they are just as great as any university course, and we are delighted that these students have earned these prestigious positions.”
