After being crowned Outdoor British Schools Skiing Champions this year, we are seeking to build on our first successful year on the slopes.

We would love to grow the team and expand the squad, so if you – or your child – is a keen skier and wants to progress their current skills sign up with us.

Training starts Thursday 8 September so contact Jamie Sleigh (PE teacher) via jsleigh@friary.greywoodmst.co.uk to get further details regarding the team and the training.

Races take place on artificial outdoor slopes and indoor snow centres around the UK so there are lots of opportunities to get involved.

Our current team have represented English Schools Ski Association in Norway and there is no reason why you can’t go on the UK at the ISF Winter Games.

Jamie Sleigh, PE teacher and Head of Seward House, said: “After starting the team and beating many private schools, it would be great to add to our team for the next academic year. Russ Pike, our parent contact, has been influential in driving this team forward and has been a massive part of the success. Please do get in touch if your son/daughter is interested. It’s time for Friary Ski Team to take over again from September.”
