New this year on the PTFA calendar, we cannot wait to welcome you all to a brilliant night of stand-up comedy provided by Comedy 42.
All of our acts are experienced comics who are familiar with the comedy circuit as well as each having TV and radio credits to their name. On the night, they will be introduced by Comedy 42’s very own Chris Purchase who will provide a humorous welcome to the evening and each of our guest acts. The line-up includes:

On the night, the doors will open at 7.00pm and a bar and BBQ will be provided by our dedicated Friary School PTFA. This will be the perfect opportunity to meet your friends, have a drink and unwind before the comedy begins a little later in the evening. Tickets are available on Parent Pay or via the school reception (cash only). Please note this event is for over 18s.
All funds raised will be donated to our PTFA and used to help support projects in school that directly impact on the day to day lives of our pupils. This year we are keen to refurbish our school theatre which is at the heart of our school and used each week assemblies and lessons in addition to our extra-curricular shows and performances.
Lindsay Hulme, Chair of the PTFA, said: “We are always looking for new and exciting ways to bring the school community together and support our school. This is going to be another great opportunity for parents and friends to come together and enjoy something a little bit different and feel a part of the school. We have a dedicated group of supporters and welcome any parents who’d like to get involved in future events – just come along and say hello!”
