Seward House won the KS3 House Independent Learning Competition in convincing style courtesy of 9S1.

The winning team consisted of Charlotte Jones and Matthew Allen, who answered every question correctly, earning themselves some valuable house points. 7D1 were in second place, with 8J2 and 8D1 tied for third position.

Students used their independent research skills to study the life of Martin Luther King. Students had a few weeks to research and prepare for the competition.

Helena Cresswell, Librarian, said “The competition is a great opportunity to encourage personal research whilst representing your House. All the students did extremely well and their level of research shone through. Huge congratulations to the winning team for scoring top marks.”
