The NCS visited school this week to meet Year 11 students and to invite them to join this summer’s NCS programme.

The programme lasts for 2 weeks and starts after the exams finish. The programme includes outward bounds activities, employability skills, group and team building work and contributing towards a social project. 5 days will also be spent on a residential trip.

Steve Cartner, Head of House, said: “I know many students have been part of the NCS programme from the Friary over the years and I have always had very positive feedback from them. I am confident many of our students will again take part this summer.”

Students can register online at www.wearencs.com and all of the information needed is on this website.
