Tomorrow night will see us open our very own annual summer festival on the field.  It promises to be an excellent night of live music and fun activities and with the current weather forecast a lovely evening to sit out and relax!

Each year we open up our beautiful playing fields as an outdoor venue to our summer concert.  Students will perform a range of musical items throughout the evening on our live stage.  Whilst you enjoy the music you will be able to buy food and drinks from our brilliant PTA bbq, bar and curry stall.

In addition to this there will be a range of free activities including face painting and bouncy castle.  We will also have a range of fundraising stalls such as tombolas, bucking bronco, stocks, penalty shootout and ‘make your own sherbert’ to name a few.

The event is strongly supported by our own Friary School PTA who help us to hire professional staging and outdoor sound equipment to enable us to create a professional looking event.  This in turn helps create a real ‘experience’ for our students as they each perform.

Tomorrow nights ‘Sizzler’ starts at 7.00pm in front of the cricket pavilion.  Entry can be gained by the side gate at the main car park.  Wristbands can be bought in advance from the school office or Parent Pay as well as on the night at the gate.  Please bring along deckchairs and picnic blankets to make your evening more comfortable.

We look forward to seeing you all there.
