Year 12 Business students attended a grade booster exam workshop at Star City, Birmingham, run by Tutor2U. The one day workshop is part of their preparation for the Personal and Business Finance exam which they will sit in May 2018.
It was a very intense day of study that students found really useful – giving them opportunities to put their knowledge into context and time to look at exam technique. Students attended sessions including ‘nailing the numbers’ and ‘become an expert with exam technique’. They were given a detailed exam booklet with exam questions to use as part of their revision. Connor Mills even won the Easter egg prize for his Q&A contribution.
Carrie Cain, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We are always on the look-out for opportunities to help our student master the skills needed for their exams and this course was too good to miss. The students enjoyed it, found it useful; and are on track for success in their exams.”
