The Student Councils work on making the most of the school environment hit new highs today as they paid homage to the clearing up of ghosts from the 1980s by donning their gear and clearing up gum from the 2010s (and some no doubt going back to the 1980s too).

The students are working this week to address the largely historic issue of school chewing gum and are ready to clean up the school to make classrooms a better place for everyone.

The work builds on the litter-picking in the school and the local community and the work with the PTA in planning refurbishment schemes across the school.

Carrie Cain, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We are blessed with a Student Council who will throw themselves into anything and the campaign posters are very much seeking to convey an important message in a fun way.
