The staff choir gathered in the canteen today to give wonderful renditions of a selection of festive songs.
There was an eclectic mix ranging from traditional carols to more up-tempo numbers including a gangsta rap version of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman”, a trip hop rendition of “Do They Know It’s Christmas” and an A capella version of “I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday”.
A Year 9 student said: “The performances were truly inspiring and I am very concerned that we will lose a lot of our teachers to Simon Cowell and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ when the videos taken go viral.”
