This Saturday saw over 50 Year 11 students working in the Sixth Form Centre and Library in GCSE sessions designed to close gaps in knowledge and skills.

There were 6 specialist Maths teachers on hand to offer support and students worked well whilst wearing non-uniform and making the most of the readily available hot drinks and snacks.

The sessions built on the success of the previous weekend’s English boosters and proved a superb support for the important Year 11 Mocks.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “It was fantastic to see so many students in and it reflected on the positivity and care of so many parents in recognising the importance of the Y11 mock exams. Our school is very much open-for-business for the majority of weekends and we look forward to seeing many of today’s faces in and making the most of free tuition during the weeks and months ahead.”
