The Hockey Festival ran by Lichfield Hockey Club saw the Year 9 boys team run out on top with some superb hockey making them the stand-out team.

The boys played teams from Erasmus Darwin and the Cathedral School and scored 13 goals – with Harry O’Donnell finishing top scorer in the competition.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are grateful for the on-going support and commitment from Lichfield Hockey Club and value the opportunities they give our students. The Year 9 boys performed superbly well and we are delighted they came put on top.”
