Despite there being a cast of thousands at our Open Evening, we were keen to reward the many students who worked so well to help Year 6 students and their families make their choice on secondary school.
Consequently, we arranged a hot chocolate breakfast treat for all helpers on the night – whether they be guides, performers or simply demonstrators of what goes on in everyday lessons.
Lottie Hearn, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We have had hugely positive feedback on the helpfulness, manners and enthusiasm of our students on Open Evening. Naturally, this was no surprise, but it would be wrong for it to go unremarked upon so this little reward was our simple gesture of thanks.”
