The new Y12 students dropped in during the final week of term for their induction sessions so that they are ready for a flying start in September.

The students spent 2 days going to A-Level and vocational taster sessions, meeting as a group and getting an outline of the two-year journey ahead of them.

Every student has received bridging packs for the summer holidays so that they can prep for the new courses and the Sixth Form drinks machine is being re-stocked after the choco-milk took a battering.

Carrie Cain, Assistant Headteacher, said: “It was great to see so many familiar faces back in school and we are looking forward to seeing them full-time in September. Our Sixth Form provision is stronger than ever so it is exciting to think these students are going to reap the rewards of our new facilities and new curriculum so that Summer 2019 is a very successful one.
